let us see what love can do

[This is from Pat from Humans 4 Peace. - admin] I am writing because
the support of The Crawford Texas Peace House would be welcomed & appreciated at the Peace Rally on the corners of Westheimer & Montrose on Sunday June 3rd. We will begin gathering at appoximately 10am.

The rally will be full of positivity and aimed at publicly displaying our dissent of the war & the need for peace in our world. The anti-war movement has gained mountains of support recently as more and more Americas disapprove of this war. By making this stand for peace, we can inspire more to become involved as well as confront those who still ignore the reality of the horror of this "just" war.

Further, though we disapprove of the war, we at Humans 4 Peace still love, support, and care for the safety and well being of our troops overseas (as well as everyother human entangled in the quagmire) -- It is for this reason that we will also be accepting donations for care-packages which will be forwarded to the US Troops who have become trapped and endangered by the unfortunate circumstances. We are very sincere in this regard, however, accepting donations for care packages is also a strong symbol to show those who view the anti-war movement as unpatriotic and unappreciative of the individuals who must bear the burden that their assumption is false.

We respectfully request that all signs pertain directly to Peace, Anti-War, Spreading Information about this heinous act of military aggression, and similar themes.

However, all we ask is that you come with smiles and open hearts.
